Michael Calman is a seasoned retail marketer, turnaround specialist, general manager, team
builder and entrepreneur. He is President of Calman Consulting LLC (www.CalmanConsulting.com); providing business insight and process-centric solutions for specialty & e-commerce retailers, luxury & fashion/accessory brands, real estate developers, and communications companies.
Michael creates business plans, multi-channel marketing & sales promotion programs, strategic alliances and special events – expanding market share, elevating best customer relationships, accelerating retail traffic, opening new markets, and acquiring highly targeted customers.
Prior to consulting, Michael’s extensive corporate leadership background encompassed marketing iconic retail brands, including: Coach, Bergdorf Goodman and Calvin Klein. These brands achieved leading market share and high consumer recognition & loyalty through ground-breaking strategic
initiatives and B2B partnerships. Also, Michael has publishing and advertising sales experience, most notably as founding publisher of the acclaimed Bergdorf Goodman Magazine.
Michael has inspired teams within large organizations and entrepreneurial companies to refresh, reposition and refashion brands by developing new products & services, inventive CRM programs, and resourceful web-based strategies – driving increased revenue streams, profitability and competitiveness, while delivering bespoke customer experiences.
